The Support People provides compassionate, experienced NDIS support services across South Western Victoria. With local teams based in Ballarat and Bendigo, and services extending to Castlemaine, Daylesford, and Horsham, we’re committed to delivering consistent, person-centred support in both city and regional communities.
Whether you’re looking for support coordination, capacity-building programs, or help with supported independent living options, our team is here to guide you through every step. We work closely with participants, carers, families, and referrers to help people achieve greater independence and make the most of their NDIS plans.
Where we work
We provide services from our local offices and through regular visits to the following locations:
- Ballarat – Our Ballarat office offers support coordination, supported independent living, daily living skills and more.
- Bendigo – Our Bendigo team provides NDIS coordination, housing support, life skills, and community engagement services.
- Castlemaine – We service the Castlemaine region with support coordination and NDIS capacity-building programs tailored to local participants.
- Daylesford – Our team regularly visits Daylesford, offering coordination and support to help participants grow their independence.
- Horsham – We provide support to Horsham and the surrounding Wimmera region, helping participants connect with services and build life skills.
Support coordination and beyond
We focus on building long-term, supportive relationships with every participant. Our support coordination service helps individuals understand their plans, connect with providers, and work toward their goals with confidence.
In addition to coordination, we also offer:
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) – for those wanting to live more independently with tailored supports
- Daily Living Skills – practical help with everyday tasks
- Life Skills Development – confidence-building for long-term independence
- Community Connections – support to engage with local groups, activities, and events
Each service is designed to meet individual needs and promote independence, growth, and choice.
Supporting your community
Our local teams understand the unique needs of regional and rural communities. We are proud to work in partnership with participants, carers, support coordinators, and referrers across the region. By maintaining local relationships and strong community ties, we ensure our services are flexible, responsive, and relevant to the people we support.
