With thanks to the NDIS, we have been able to assist local Artist, Jesse, with his self-expression.
Jesse finds pleasure in art, with a love for drawing, which has had a beneficial effect on his mental health; as it aids in keeping him calm. He has been enjoying his time with, one of our Super Star Disability Support Workers, Rianh Silvertree.
Jesse had praise when discussing his experience working with Rianh, saying she “… is a good artist and a good teacher”.
Rianh has equal appreciation for the time she has been able to spend with Jesse. She had this to say:
“I have had the privilege of working with this talented young artist, helping him to develop his existing skills and to work alongside him exploring all the other ways in which art can enhance life. Creating time for art, gives us the chance to pause and reflect on all the things that are going on around you”.
